What's up Doc?
Aidan had his two month check-up this week. We learned that he is in the 95 percentile for length and height for his age. He now weighs 14 lbs 8 1/2 oz. and is 25 inches long. It won't be long before he is as tall as his Dad.
His eyes are still blue and he enjoys standing while being supported. We have noticed that he watches Ariel (the puppy) more and he loves to look out the window. Aidan is also holding toys longer and putting them in his mouth. Oh the joys of watching him grow.....

"AO"
Aidan is "cooing" up a storm. When he speaks he uses a soft voice and he is playing with combining different sounds, most of which are inaudible. He has been saying "ao", which means blue in Japanese. "Ah-goo" is quickly coming in as the 2nd most popular sound heard from Aidan. I have also heard some "u" and "wo" but no "e" sounds yet.
Japanese trivia: Japanese refer to the green light on traffic lights as "ao". Some dictionaries state that "ao" means blue or green but "midori" is used for green in all other situations.

Palmer Comes to Play
What could be more exciting than having a new friend come over to play? Palmer was born just about a month or two before Aidan. His parents are Big Howie and Ashley. They brought Palmer and his big sister Daily all the way from Mississippi to come see us. (and Howie's parents) Too bad they don't live a little closer so the boys could play more often.
